Home Introduction: 

Our Halliwell Home is situated on the outskirts of the charming town, Tunbridge Wells. Providing residential and nursing care to the highest of standards in a beautiful, homely environment.  

About the Role

We have a dedicated and well-trained team providing an excellent standard of person-centred care for our residents. As a Job Title joining our large, diverse team who are proud of the difference we make to our residents you will:

• Maintenance Officer:

• Undertake maintenance work in line with the agreed maintenance schedule. 

• You will assist the maintenance manager in the safe and efficient running of the home, always providing residents and the home with a prompt and courteous full maintenance service. You will undertake any maintenance or decoration of the buildings and grounds and carry out health and safety checks. 
• Assist with ensuring the security of the premises and of all residents through the observance of security procedures and the challenging of any strangers in the Home or grounds. 
• Assist with carrying out relevant safety checks in accordance with the agreed maintenance schedule and statutory requirements.  
• Assist the maintenance team to decorate, paint and refurbish all areas of the home as and when required and in accordance with agreed maintenance schedules. 

Prior experience is desirable but not needed, as we will give you all the training you need to be successful in this role.
